Ronald Scott

Ronald Orin Scott, age 78, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022. He was born in Muskegon, MI. and served in the United States Air Force. Ron worked as a crane operator, then became a pilot, flying for the US Forest Service, US Marshal Service and US Airways. After retiring from flying, he worked for the FAA as an Aviation Safety Inspector at Chicago O'Hare Flight Standards District Office. He was part of IUOE 324, Saladin Temple Shriners, a 32nd degree Mason and belonged to the American Legion, VFW and Moose. Ron served on the Polkton Township Board and Planning Commission. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 36 years Laurel Scott. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. Burial will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetary.
