Robert “Bob” Louis Clark, age 76, was called home to his Lord unexpectedly Wednesday, May 19, 2021. Bob was born in Cheboygan, MI to the late Thomas and Marie (Shasta) Clark. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant brother Thomas and sister Ardis Sherman. Bob was a member of Ottawa Center Chapel, served in the Nation Guard, enjoyed cars especially older ones, he was a passionate scrapper and was always willing to help others. He enjoyed meeting new people and making friends, nobody was ever a stranger to Bob. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 54 years, Elaine (Hittle) Clark; children, David Clark, James (Sheila) Clark, Kathleen (Jim) Chapman, Susan (Scott) Hutson; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Clark; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Marsha (Bill) Raska; sisters-in-law, Joyce Bignell and Alicia (Stan) Hard; brother-in-law, Charlie (Laurie) Hittle and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Ottawa Center Chapel, 8991 Leonard St, Coopersville, MI 49404, with a luncheon to follow. Memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Valley Bible Camp, 3606 Wilson Rd. East Jordan, MI 49727. Condolences for the family may be left on his tribute wall at www.throopfh.com
