Lonny Eisen

Lonny Duane Eisen, age 65, of Walker, formerly of Coopersville, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021. Lonny was born in Grand Haven, MI to the late Floyd and Helen (Buzas) Eisen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Karen Witte. Lonny worked in the  concrete construction industry for many years until health issues caused his early retirement. He enjoyed growing up in Coopersville, farming, raising animals, growing produce and sold produce at the flea market in Grand Rapids for many years. Lonny liked cooking for family and friends and no one left his table hungry. He was a man who was generous, giving, caring and found great pleasure in time spent with his family. Lonny is survived by his children, Leslie (Greg) Harmon, Jeremiah (Dana) Baker, Erin (Michael) Ward and Monica Eddy; 4 grandchildren, Anna, Andrew, Austin and Colton; 1 great granddaughter; 4 siblings, Linda Anderson, Mary Walcott, Terry Eisen and Becky (Gary) Simmons; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 17th at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St., Coopersville, MI 49404 with Rev. Steve VanderWoude officiating. Burial will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery.
