Letha Calkins

Letha Florence Calkins, age 89, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019. Letha was born in Detroit to the late Obbie and Gladys (Austin) Denson. In addition to her parents Letha was preceded in death by her husband’s, Donald Tubbs Sr. and William Calkins, daughter Linda Fleese, brother Arnold Denson and sister’s Margaret Clelland and Betty Andres. Letha is survived by her children, Janet (James) Denson, Donald Jr. (April) Tubbs, Clifford (Deb) Tubbs, Rick (Marcia) Hartman, Carl (Janet) Hartman, Debra Castenholtz, Sid (Linda) Tubbs and Ronald (Mary) Tubbs; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Jay (Judy) Denson and James (Janet) Denson, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday 12:00 Noon at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St., Coopersville with Pastor Steve Smail officiating. Burial will be at Rosedale Memorial Park in Standale.
