Kendra Geffert

The shadows of a beautiful and vibrant soul have set for Kendra Geffert, age 54, of Coopersville, MI. We lift our heads and find joy in the truth of the rest and wholeness she now finds in the embrace of her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Our Kendra loved completely and wholeheartedly. She will be remembered by her contagious smile, her love for gardening, riding horse-back with friends, and enjoying family outings. She took great pride in her yard and was often found pruning her beautiful flowers, tending to her koi pond with her daughter, and gardening with her mother. She enjoyed having friends and family over to swim in the pool, and always had music playing. Kendra was loved by so many. Her husband; Tony Geffert, her daughters; Kristen Zemaitis and Erika and Henry Owsiak, her grandkids Weston and Nora Owsiak, her Parents; Rickey and Marcia Draft, her loving brother; Kelly and Teresa Draft, her loving nieces; Alyssa and Levi Hecksel, Amber and Jake Grimm; Step-father in-law Bob Cooper, Sister in-law Carla and Gary Hamstra; niece Denise and Shawn Van Dyke and nephew Brian Hamstra. She was greeted in heaven by grandparents Norma and Larry Draft, and Adrianna Langland; and Mother and father in-law Linda and Frank Geffert. Her absence will be felt by many for their lifetime. As her loved ones, we take comfort that nothing in death, nor life, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in this created world separates us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Visitation will be Thursday, January 26th, 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the Throop Funeral home in Coopersville. Open casket visitation will be prior, 1-2PM on Thursday.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27th 11AM at the Coopersville Reformed Church. A small luncheon will follow the funeral service for friends and family to share memories of our beloved Kendra.
