Jerry Sweet

Jerry Joseph Sweet, age 85, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Fountain View Estates Assisted Living. Jerry was born in Muskegon MI to the late Lawrence and Arlene (Loosemoore) Sweet. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as an auto body repair man. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his son Larry Sweet and sisters Vivian Collins and Judy Brandow. Jerry is survived by his wife, Frances; children, Joseph Sweet, Charlene (Jack) Sterken, Juliet Sweet, Jeraldene Sweet and Robert Sweet; stepchildren, Stephen (Thea) Swart, Ken (Marliene) Swart, Lin (Roger) Rosema, Ray Swart, Barb (John) Sheridan and Dave (Tammy) Swart; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Phyllis McDonald and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place with interment in Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. The family will greet friends and relatives on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019 from 2 – 4 PM at Fountain View Estates, Bldg. 2 Community Room in the lower level.
