Clarellen Doornbos, age 95, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022. She was born in Grandville, MI to the late Baltus and Tena (Binder) Doornbos.in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Henry (Minnie) Doornbos, Theresa Doornbos and Adrian Doornbos. Clarellen enjoyed playing the piano, violin and sewing. She cared for her parents and sister as they became older. She will be deeply missed by her nephews; Ken (Roberta) Doornbos, Jerry (Karen) Doornbos, Dale Doornbos, Arlyn (Louann) Doornbos; 7 great nephews; 1 great niece; close friends, Randy (Marie) TenBrink, Ruth Vanden Berg and Roberta Hinkley. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 2, 2022 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404, with Rev. Arnold VanBeek officiating. Burial will take place in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, May 2, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404. Memorial donations may be made to Gideon International, 8671 Buchanan St, West Olive, MI 49460 or Harbor Humane Society, 14345 Bagley St. West Olive, MI 49460.
