Charles Snyder Jr.

Charles “Buz” Ernest Snyder, age 83, of Allendale, was called to his heavenly home Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019 to be with his Lord and Savior and reunited with his wife Genese who preceded him in death on Feb. 12, 2019. He owned Snyder’s Fixit Shop in Allendale, drove bus for Allendale Schools and retired from GVSU. Buz will be remembered with love by his children, Ruth and Fred Wass, David and Sarah Snyder, Teresa and Peter Schraudt, Paul and Chelle Snyder; grandchildren, Andrew Wass, Kailey and Brian Marcinkowski, Lilyanna Snyder, Jesse and Tyler Schraudt, Hank and Jack Snyder; great granddaughter, Gemma Marcinkowski; sister-in-law, Marcia and Woody Knight; brothers-in-law, Carl and Janet Reister,  Rev. Robert Duchow. He was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Bonnie Duchow. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 11:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church, 9628 48th Ave, Jenison with Rev. Marin Cerchez officiating. Interment Allendale Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Throop Funeral Home 214 Church St, Coopersville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, where Buz was a longtime member.
