Catherine Key

Catherine Pauline Key, age 94, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Cornelius and Pauline (VanderWaal) Vansweden. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Key, brother Harry VanSweden, sister Thelma Vandekieft, and daughter Lorraine Feenstra. Catherine was a very accepting person who loved everyone she came into contact with, spent 15 years in Florida until the passing of Ted and moved back to Coopersville to be with family. She will be deeply missed by her children, Kenneth (Cathy) Key, James (Pamela) Key, Patricia (Dennis) Grossenbacher, David (Nichole) Key; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; son-in-law, Robert Feenstra; brother-in-law, Roger Vandekieft; sister-in-law, Mary Vansweden. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 11:30 Monday, December 20 at Second Church on M-45 in Allendale.
