Brian Potter

Brian L. Potter, age 56, of Coopersville, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019. Brian was born in Hart, to the late Oscar Potter and Genevieve “Gen” (Armstrong) Potter. He was diagnosed at the age of 3 with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and has had 13 major corrective surgeries. Brian was an avid sports fan and enjoyed rooting for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and St Louis Cardinals. He also enjoyed listening to Bob Seger and fishing. In addition to his father Brian was preceded in death by his brother Richard. He is survived by his mother Genevieve “Gen” Potter; siblings, Sandra (Dave) White, Marie Rood, Sheryl Kuzniar and friend Oene Pomper, Mike (Valerie) Potter, Mark (Susan) Potter and Rita (Dennis) Zimmer; sister-in-law,  Connie Potter and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday afternoon from 2 to 4 pm with a service a 4:00 PM at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 1355 Peachtree St NE #600, Atlanta, GA 30309.
