Betty Sheridan

August 14, 1932 — June 4, 2020

Betty E. (Barding) Sheridan, age 87 of Allendale, was taken up by the angels to see her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at her home. Holding her hand was her loving husband and Best Friend of 69 Years, Robert Sheridan. She is proceeded in death by her Parents, Everett & Genevieve (Durham) Barding, Daughter, Terri Lynn (Sheridan) Dietrich, Grandsons, Matthew and Daniel Beyerlein and Brother James Barding.  Betty was a true Blessing to her children, Kathi and Don Alderink, Mark and Ruth Beyerlein, Jeff and Jane Sheridan, Kristi and Jim Hansen and John and Barb Sheridan. She will be greatly missed by her 19 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Granddaughter. Her living siblings are Beverly Wisniewski, Joann and Marvin Elkins, Richard and Linda Barding, Roger Barding, Jerry and Carol Draper, Larry and Dorothy Draper and Thomas and Ellen Draper.  Betty was a lady that wore many hats…beautician, nurse’s assistant, wedding cake baker, servant of the church, foster mother and Friend to all she met.    Betty held dear her church family as well as her winter families they acquired while being snowbirds in Florida and Arizona.  Friends and Family were her true treasures in life.  In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. A Celebration Service will be held at St John Lutheran Church at a later date.
