Zalma Snowdin

August 25, 1942 — March 3, 2018

Zalma M. Snowdin (Sprague), age 75, of Coopersville, passed away Saturday March 3, 2018 with family at her side. Zalma was born in Hastings to the late Lester and Ione (Moore) Sprague. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Sprague and Robert Bates. Zalma enjoyed spending time outdoors in nature, teaching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren how to fish and mushroom hunting. She is survived by her 5 daughters, Evelyn (Thomas) Haase, Sarah (John) Powell, Debra (William) Wilber, Juanita (Todd) Buskard and Denise (Josh) Overkamp; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Bradley (Janice) Sprague and Lester (Delores) Sprague; sisters, Mary Ollom and Joyce Bowerman; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Monday at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville with Rev Jeff Gunderman officiating. Visitation will be Monday one hour prior to the service.
