Willard Iii

Mr Willard (Sam) Samuel Nusbaum III, aged 74, of Conklin went to walk with our Lord on May 7, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Helen and Willard Nusbaum and sister and brother-in-law Jane and Jack Berg. Sam was born in Fostoria Ohio, attended Howe Military Academy, and lived in and round the Grand Rapids Area for the last 50 years. Sam loved his children, grandchildren and gatherings with family and friends. Sam is survived by his wife of 20 years, Klio (Manning) Nusbaum; children, Charlyn (Scott) Butler, Karen Landry, Chris (Mary) Nusbaum, Nancy (Charles) Downey, Mary F. Dulyea, Cathy (Steve) Sadler, Tami (Ed) Vroma, Todd (Penny) Bursma; his good friend and fishing buddy James Nowatski; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 12:00 noon at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, 49404. The family will greet relatives and friends Saturday one hour prior to the funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to Great Lakes Hospice Foundation, 900 Cooper Street, Jackson, MI 49202.
