Virginia E. Albrecht of Houghton Lake formerly of Coopersville and Grand Rapids age 89, passed away Thursday September 26, 2013. She was born in Coopersville MI to Clifford and Wilma (Cady) Albrecht who preceded her in death. Virginia served her country in the US Marine Corp and retired from Steelcase in Grand Rapids where she worked for 20 years. She was also preceded in death by her sister Vivian VanderZyl and brother Kenneth Albrecht. Virginia is survived by her brother, Robert (Gen) Albrecht; nieces and nephews, Karen (Ron) Johnson, Steve (Sally) VanderZyl, Tobi VanderZyl and Jerry Parris, Ricky (Wendy) Albrecht, Robin (Lynn) Albrecht and Robert (Larry Ann) Albrecht; great nieces and nephews Karla, Wendi, Craig (Kristen), Keith and one great great nephew Anton. In keeping with Virginiaé�a�a��s wish cremation has taken place with interment in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. A memorial service will be held 11am Friday, October 4th, at Houghton Lake United Methodist Church, 7059 W Houghton Lake Dr, Houghton Lake, MI 48629.
