Travis Ryke

Travis Lee Ryke, age 24, of Coopersville, passed away Saturday July 26, 2014 from accidental injuries. Travis was born in Grand Rapids to Doug Ryke and Terri Ryder. Travisé�a�a�� passion was bicycles and his dream was to open his own bike shop é�a�A"Rykes Bikesé�a��. He enjoyed riding his bike and was planning a trip to Traverse City yet this summer. Travis enjoyed spending time with family and friends and everyone knew he was around by his laughter and goofy fun filled spirit. He also enjoyed attending church services at Central Family Worship in Coopersville, fishing and loved animals and his dog Angel. He will be deeply missed by his mother Terri (Rodney) Holmes; father Doug (Debbie) Ryke; stepfather Joe (Jennifer) VanDyke; siblings, Monica (Craig) Velting, Jennifer (Nick) Hintz, Dalaina Ryke and Walter Wheeler, Dustin Ryke, Tyler Ryke and Kendra Ryke; step siblings, Kyla Holmes, Seth Hill, Alex Holmes and Joey VanDyke; grandparents Ronald (Bonnie é�a�A"Whiteé�a��) Ryder, great grandmother, Iris Ryder; step grandparents Roger (Frances) Holmes, Jerry (Terri) Walker and Becki VanDyke; many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents William and Shirlee Ryke and nephew Matthew Orcasitas Jr. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday July 30, 2014 at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville with Rev Wes Devries officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 pm and Wednesday 11 am to 12 noon at the funeral home in Coopersville. A memorial fund in Travisé�a�a�� memory é�a�A"Rykes Bikesé�a�� is being set up at My Personnal Credit Union in Coopersville or donations are being received at www.gofundme.com under Travis Ryke.
