Theodore Broere

Theodore “Ted” George Broere, age 78, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022. He was born in Groningen, Netherlands to the late John and Geesije “Gay” (Kruizinga) Broere. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Fred Broere, mother and father-in-law Gertrude and John Dykstra. Ted and his wife owned and operated AB Wiping products in Coopersville, he served in the Army National Guard. Ted enjoyed fishing and selling fishing tackle and stamps. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 54 years Helen (Dykstra) Broere; sons, Nathan Broere, Steven (Melissa) Choi; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Gina) Broere; 3 brothers-in-law; 8 sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. Burial will take place in Lakeshore Cemetery, Grand Haven, MI.  Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 25200 Telegraph Road, Suite 100, Southfield, MI 48033.
