Simon Lindberg

Mr Simon é�a�A"Samé�a�� Lindberg, aged 90, of Coopersville passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 surrounded by his family. Simon was a member of St Michael's Catholic Church, the Polled Hereford Assoc. and Mich. Blueberry Growers Assoc. He was preceded in death by his daughter Marjorie Gardner; sister Kathleen Jonio, and brothers Albert and Tom Lindberg. Simon is survived by his wife of 65 years Lerine; children Ronald (Joan) Lindberg, Jane (Bill) Gavin, Nancy Lindberg, Fred (Laurie) Lindberg, Jeff (Brenda) Lindberg, and Kathy (John) Feuerstein; 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister's Emmaleen Schab and Marie Nellist; sister-in-law's Florence Lindberg, Kay Yost and Natalie Yost and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 11:00 am at St Michael's Catholic Church, Fr Mel Fox celebrant. Burial will be in St Michael's Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville, with a scripture service Wednesday evening at 6 pm. There will also be visitation on Thursday at St Michael's Church one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to St Michael's Church or Harbor Hospice.
