Shirley Ann (Sweet) Andree

Shirley Ann Andree went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 20, 2026. She was born in Crystal Valley, MI to the late Chester Earl and Marjorie Beryl (Walker) Sweet. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Sweet; great grandson, Lucas Fiedler and brother-in-law, Wayne Weers.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find great comfort in knowing Shirley’s earthly body, that was full of cancer and took her so quickly, is now laid down and she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. While we grieve the loss of her voice, laughter, and steady presence, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and the day we will be together again with Christ for all eternity.

Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of Berlin Baptist Church where she was very active. She was a Bible Study Fellowship leader for 12 years. She had a catering business for several years, and was an amazing wedding and speciality cake maker. She took great joy in helping girls have their dream wedding and reception, it was one of the many ways that she could show the love of Christ to others. She also drove school bus for Kenowa Hills Public schools for 30 years. Well done My good and faithful servant.

Shirley will be deeply missed by her husband of 66 years, Marv Andree Sr.; children, Marvin Jr. (Dawn) Andree, Debbie (Steve) Wisler, Diane (Rich) Onan and Dawn (Matt) Ambrose; 19 grandchildren and their spouses and 39 great grandchildren with more on the way; sister, Mary Weers and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Berlin Baptist Church, 14141 State St, Marne, MI 49435 and Friday one hour prior to the service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 25, 2026 at the church with Rev. Chris Howard and Rev. Jeff Gunderman officiating. Burial will take place in Marne Cemetery.
