Sharon "Shari" Lynne (Ensing) Millard

Sharon (“Shari”) Lynne Millard, age77, of Coopersville, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 in Coopersville, Michigan. She was born to Alvin & Nina (VanDeBurg) Ensing on April 13, 1948. She graduated from Unity Christian High School in 1966. Shari married John Millard on October 5, 1974. She was an active member of the PTA while her children were growing up & could often be found volunteering at school events. Shari was a longtime employee of the GVSU bookstore. She was a proud election official in Coopersville for several decades.

Shari is survived by her husband, John; her children Jaime (Eric Dobrzelewski) Millard & Jenifer (Aaron) Nieboer; grandchildren Damian (Kaitlyn) Kleman, & John, Henry, Jack, & Hugh Nieboer; great-granddaughter Leia Kleman; her step-mother Karen Ensing; brother Glen (Judy) Ensing; in-laws Jeri Lynn (Luke) Kliphuis, Jim & Joe Millard, & many nieces, nephews, & cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jeremy Millard; brother Greg Ensing; in-laws Gerald & Laura (Bronson) Millard, & Jack Millard. A graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Maplewood Cemetery in Lamont. Memorial donations may be made to John Millard to help with funeral expenses.
