Sharon Ruth Brifling-Herron

Nov 19, 1946 — Oct 2, 2026

Sharon Ruth Brifling-Herron, age 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 2, 2026, in Walker, Michigan. She was a loving, faith-filled, and thoughtful woman whose life was marked by devotion to her family, her church, and the Lord she served faithfully throughout her life.

Sharon was born on November 19, 1946, and she grew up with the values of kindness, commitment, and quiet strength that would remain with her throughout her years. She was a graduate of Coopersville High School, and she carried the lessons of her upbringing into every part of her life. Those who knew her remember her as someone who lived with sincerity and grace, always offering warmth and care to the people around her.

A lifelong member of Coopersville Bible Church, Sharon was faithful to the Lord and found great meaning in her church family and her walk of faith. Her devotion was evident in the way she lived each day, with humility, steadiness, and a heart that reflected her beliefs. She was the kind of person whose presence brought comfort, and her faith was not only spoken but lived through her actions, her words, and her example.

Sharon especially cherished time spent with her husband, Brian Herron, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage. Their life together was built on love, companionship, and mutual devotion. She treasured the simple joys of being with him and especially loved spending time with him and their two dogs. These moments were among the most meaningful in her life, and they reflected the deep affection and loyalty that defined her relationships.

She was preceded in death by her parents, whose memory remained important to her throughout her life. Sharon is survived by her husband, Brian Herron; her sister, Darlene (Joseph) Bond; her nephew, Tim (Don) Bond-Flowers; her niece, Carrie (Louis) Farraher; her brother-in-law, Mark (Kelly) Herron; and her sister-in-law, Linda (Joe) Bissard. She also leaves behind many who will remember her with love and gratitude for the kindness she showed and the example she set.

Sharon will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her steadfast faith, and the love she gave so freely to those closest to her. She lived a life of purpose and devotion, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, the legacy of her faith, her love, and her thoughtful nature will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, October 9, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Coopersville Bible Church, 35 Hillcrest St, Coopersville, MI 49404.
