Russell Taylor

Russell K. Taylor, age 69, of Grand Rapids formerly of Coopersville, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014. Russ graduated from Coopersville High School, served in the U.S. Army and worked many years as a truck driver in the Grand Rapids area. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Taylor, mother and stepfather, Arda and Francis Hingston and his brother, Larry Taylor. Russ is survived by his daughter, Kim McLeod; son, Brian Taylor; stepmother Myrna Taylor; siblings, Dennis (Donna) Beach, Peggy (Wayne) Morris, Susan Rose, Steve (Karen) Hingston, and Richard (Lee) Hingston; sister-in-law Tammy (Dave) Mankel and several nephews and nieces. In keeping with Russé�a�a��s wish cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 13th, at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Interment will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, May 13th one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
