Russell Stanton

Stanton - Russell Stanton, aged 87, of Coopersville formerly of Allendale passed away Thursday Feb 24, 2011. He was born April 30, 1923 in Detroit MI., to Harold and Nella (Bowlin) Stanton. Russell was preceded in death by his wife Maxine, son's David and Darrell, and sister Edythe Dodd. He is survived by his sons, Larry (Sue) Stanton, Dan (Charon) Stanton, Tim Stanton; six grandchildren Eric (Michelle) Stanton, Kelly (Matt) Andexler, Joe Stanton, Jennifer (Brian) Koppenol, Michelle Stanton, Emily (Scott) Eads; ten great grandchildren; sister, Lois (Thomas) VanDahm and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday 2:00 pm at Grand Valley Baptist Church, O-3186 River Hill Dr Grand Rapids, MI 49534. Rev Dan Heistand officiating. Burial in Allendale Cemetery.
