Robert Molyneux

Robert Leslie Molyneux, age 84, of Coopersville, was called home to his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Robert was born in Coopersville to the late Raymond and Olive (Hoek) Molyneux. He was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Elaine and Melvin Breen and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Frank and Joyce Kooistra. Robert is a lifelong resident of Coopersville born in 1934 on the family farm, he graduated from Coopersville High School class of 1952 and has lived and worked the farm all of his life. Robert had a deep respect for the land and farming was a labor of love for him. He was a man of deep faith and served as a Deacon and Elder at Eastmanville United Reformed Church where he was a longtime member. He also served on the Wright Twp. Board of Review for many years.  Robert is survived by his wife of 63 yrs., Shirley (Kooistra); children, Nancy (David) Langeland, Jane (Michael) Rinzema, Jim (Teresa) Molyneux, Joe (Sue) Molyneux and John Molyneux; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; brother, Melvin (Della) Molyneux and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 27,2018 at Eastmanville United Reformed Church, 6845 Leonard St, Coopersville, MI 49404 with Rev Jeph Nobel officiating. Burial will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Eastmanville United Reformed Church 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday July 26, 2018.
