Robert Garter

Robert F. Garter, aged 71, of Dearborn Heights, passed away Thursday October 1, 2015 at his home. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Frances (Sima) Garter. He spent many summers in the Coopersville area on his grandparents, uncles and aunts farms. Robert graduated from Dearborn High School, where he was very active in sports. He attended college at the University of Michigan where he graduated with a Bacheloré�a�a��s of Science Degree and worked for general motors in Detroit for several years as a Mechanical Engineer. Robert is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Adde Lou Garter and nephew Kenneth Garter. In keeping with his wish burial will take place next to his parents in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery at 10:00 A.M. Monday October 5, 2015.
