Richard Koon

Richard é�a�A"Rické�a�� Koon, age 66, also known as é�a�A"The Mayor of Marneé�a�� passed away Monday, December 22, 2014. Rick was preceded in death by his father Orrie Koon, mother Elizabeth Barbour and step-father Max Barbour. He is survived by his son, Richard A. Koon II; two brothers, David (Mary) Barbour and Douglas Barbour; step-sister, Sharon (Randy) Huston, several nieces and nephews; special aunt Dorothy é�a�A"Doté�a�� Brochu; special cousins, Richard and Deborah Shotwell along with many friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, with Elder Richard Shotwell officiating. Burial will take place at Garfield Park Cemetery in Grand Rapids. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
