Raymond Barton Armock, age 90, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. He was preceded in death by his sons, Joseph and Gregory, grandson, Scott Gerbers, siblings, Harold and James. Ray will be deeply missed by his wife of 66 yrs. Erma; children, Donald (Nancy) Armock, David (Barbara) Armock, Mary Ann (Gale) Gerbers, Nancy (Eduardo) Armock-Batista, Cynthia (Randall) Laug and Christine (Joseph) Schweitzer. He was blessed with 23 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren who brought delight to his life. Also surviving are his siblings, Agatha, Dorothy, Bertha, Arlene, Edward and Leonard and many nieces and nephews. Ray was a lifetime member of St Joseph's Catholic Church in Wright and in his retirement enjoyed golfing, fishing and Life. He was a Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4404, Local 730 UAW, Our Lady's Rosary Makers and 30 plus year retiree of General Motors. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10:30 AM at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Wright with Fr. Fred Brucker and Fr. Tom McKinney celebrants. Burial in St Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 5 to 8 pm a the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville, with a Rosary Service Sunday evening at 8 pm and Monday one hour prior to the mass at church.
