Phillip C. Anes

Phillip C. Anes, age 77, of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Phil was born in Cadillac, MI to the late Clyde and Evelyn (Wilson) Anes. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Phil loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, trips to the casino his EZ chair and listening to old classic country music. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 46 years, Mary Anes; children, Kyme (Dale) Fisher, Danny Anes, Bill Rife, Tom (Melissa) Anes, Curt (Amanda) Anes; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Frederick; sister-in-law, Carol VanVelsen; brother-in-law, Tom (Deborah) Gray and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Throop Funeral Home, with Rev. Cori Conran officiating. Burial will take place in Rosedale Memorial Park.
