Philip Richter

Mr Philip E. Richter, aged 75, of Ravenna, was called home to celebrate his birthday with his Lord Saturday Oct 8, 2011. He was born Oct 8, 1936 in Fremont, MI to Clarence and Virginia (Curtis) Richter who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his son Dale, and stepdaughters Barbara and Karen Scharphorn. Philip is survived by his wife of 30 years Lona, son; Alan (Deana) Richter, stepchildren; Lucy (Mark) Eisen, Ronald Scharphorn, and Bobby (Rebekah) Scharphorn, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sister-in-law; Leslie Richter and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 1:00 pm at Little Farms Chapel, 2518 Arthur St, Coopersville, MI 49404, Rev Robert VanManen officiating. Burial will be in Coopersville Cemetery. The family will greet friends and relatives on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville. Memorials may be made to Little Farms Chapel.
