Paul Raymond Dykstra, age 63, of Fruitport, MI., passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. Paul was born in Grand Rapids to the late Jack and Kathleen (Versluis) Dykstra. Paul was co-owner of Jack Dykstra Excavating in Walker along with his brothers and was instilled with a strong work ethic from his father and mother at young age. He enjoyed spending time in Key Largo FL., fishing, boating and snowmobiling. Paul is survived by “His Girl” of 22 yrs, Paulette DeYoung; son, Jason Dykstra; brothers James (Donna) Dykstra and Jack Jr. (Cheryl) Dykstra; sister Margie (Ross) Bartman; Lynda DeYoung, Connie (Tom) Langeland, Tim DeYoung, Blaine DeYoung, Jack and Gloria Burg and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, Dec 2nd, at the Coopersville Farm Museum, 375 Main St, Coopersville with burial in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Sunday, Dec 1st, at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Memorial donations may be made to Lori’s Voice, PO Box 66, Coopersville, MI 49404 (dedicated to supporting and enriching the lives of children with neuromuscular and degenerative diseases).
