Patricia Cappy

Patricia A. Cappy (Albrecht), age 85, of Lamont, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019. Patricia was born in Coopersville to the late Myron and Anna Marie (Mohrhard) Albrecht and was a graduate of Coopersville High School. Patricia met her husband Gerald Cappy while at a local barrel racing event. She enjoyed raising horses in her younger years, barrel racing, helping her children show their horses at the local 4-H fairs and enjoyed attending fairs and quarter horse shows with her children until this year. Patricia loved doing Crossword and Sudoku puzzles, reading, and liked watching the heartland channel on TV. In addition to her parents Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Gerald in 2013, sister and brother-in-law Theda and Russell Starks and brother-in-law Bryce Mengel. She lived a happy full life and will be remembered and missed by her daughters, Judy (Jake) Borton and Barbara Cappy; son, Terry Cappy; grandchildren, David Wambaugh, Shane Mosley and fiance Missy Lear, Zackery (Caitlin) Borton and Maria (Dakota) Borton-Clark; sister Mary Jean Mengel and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 5th 11:00 am at the Throop Funeral home in Coopersville with burial in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home in Coopersville.
