Mildred Snowdin

Mildred Mary (Schoenborn) Snowdin, age 92, of Conklin, was called home to her Lord on Sunday, March 4, 2018.  Millie is a lifelong resident of Conklin (born and living in the same home) to the late Albert and Florence (Fuller) Schoenborn on October 2, 1925.  A lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wright Twp., Mildred was a faithful servant, who loved her Saviour.  She was a devout wife and mother of nine, who is fondly remembered for all the loving aspects of being a farmer’s wife. Mildred is proceeded in death by her husband of almost 43 years, Edward Snowdin; her brother Aloysius (Lorraine) Schoenborn; and sister Alvina (Gerard) Arends; daughter, Marjorie Harms; son, Merle Snowdin; son-in-law Bill Taylor and granddaughter Niki Snowdin. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Elizabeth Snowdin; her children, Donald (Darlene) Snowdin; Duane (Kerri) Snowdin; Karen Taylor; Mel Snowdin; Karolyn (Mike) Homrich; Bill (Heather) Snowdin; and Annette Snowdin. Mildred dearly loved her 27 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10:30 am at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, 18876 8th Ave, Conklin, MI 49403 with Fr. Tom McKinney Celebrant. Burial will take place at St Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, with The Rosary Prayers Wednesday evening at 8 pm. Visitation will also be Thursday one hour prior to the Mass at Church.
