Michael Bartlett

Michael D. Bartlett, age 73, of Coopersville, passed away unexpectedly Friday August 28, 2015. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI. to the late William and Catherine (Hudson) Bartlett. Mike served in the U.S. Navy and served on the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Fire Dept. for 15 years retiring as a Lieutenant. He will be missed by his 3 daughters, Sheryl (Dan) Bylsma, Beth (Mark) Andrews and Kim (Doug) Avink; 5 grandchildren, Derek, Drew, Christina, Bryan and Erica; 2 great grandchildren, Damontae and Jamarcus; brother, Dan (Rose) Bartlett, sister, Sandy (Ernie) Merrit and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Mike's wish cremation has taken place. A life celebration service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, Sept. 4, 2015 at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Interment will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
