Mertice Demull

Mertice Ione DeMull, age 87, of Nunica passed away Thursday, Nov 13, 2014. She was born in Hudsonville, MI to Alfred and Angeline (Albrecht) DeWeerd who preceded her in death. Mertice was also preceded in death by her husband Thomas DeMull on March 13, 2005. Mertice enjoyed nature, gardening, raising flowers, feeding and watching the hummingbirds, traveling and sharing time with family and friends. She is survived by her children Thomas (Maria) DeMull, Mary (Patrick) McLean, James (Rebecca) DeMull and Bruce (Dawn) DeMull; 3 grandchildren, Leticia (Josh) Mathern, Marisa (Dan) Abernathy and Jonathon DeMull; 2 great granddaughters, Allyssa and Arianna; brother, Duane (Arlene) DeWeerd; 2 sisters, Deloris Dourghtery and Eleanor Krikke; brother-in-law Toby (Jennifer) DeMull; 3 sisters-in-law Betty Davis, Arlene (George) Wagner and Helen DeMull along with many nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Nov 18, 2014, 11 am at Rosedale Memorial Park and Cemetery O-50 Lake Michigan Dr, Grand Rapids, MI 49534 with interment to take place after the services.
