Maxine Vroma

Maxine L. Vroma, age 88, of Shelbyville, MI., passed away Friday evening Oct. 16, 2015 at her home with family at her side. Maxine was born in Slocum, MI. to Curtis and Galdys (DeCamp) Taylor. She grew up in the Ravenna-Coopersville area before moving to Grand Rapids where she graduated from Godwin High School. Maxine worked at Lear Siegler and Yamaha Musical Products in Grand Rapids. She was a member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Grand Rapids, was a member of the German-American Club and member of G.B.U. Maxine loved to share and spend time with her family especially her grandchildren and grandchildren. She enjoyed, crocheting and traveling and has taken trips through the U.S. as well as to Europe and Asia. She will be deeply missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Mary Vroma; three grandchildren; several great grandchildren and her brother Ron and Cathy Taylor; In keeping with her wish private services were held with burial in Sullivan Twp.
