Martin Lloyd Neely

Martin "Marty" Lloyd Neely, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family and friends.

He was born on December 31, 1959, in Greenville, Michigan, and throughout his life he carried with him the values of kindness, loyalty, and generosity that were evident to all who knew him. Marty was a loving, kind, and friendly man whose warm spirit touched the lives of many. He had a gift for making others feel welcome and valued, and he will be remembered for the steady presence he brought to every relationship and every season of life.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Wilma (Titcombe) Neely, his former wife, Amy Neely and sister Brenda Neely. Their memories remained an important part of his life, and he carried his family history with respect and gratitude. He is survived by his wife, Kristi Neely, who stood beside him with love and companionship. He also leaves behind his children, Martin Jr. (Sophia) Neely, Myrissa (Nick) Bordewyk, Brad Neely, Tiffany Neely and Jeremy Nelly, who were a source of great pride and joy to him.

Marty was a devoted grandfather who especially treasured time spent with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by Cora Bordewyk, Ella Bordewyk, and his new granddaughter who is soon to arrive. His face lit up when he was with his grandchildren, and he found deep happiness in the simple moments shared with them. Family was at the center of his life, and he cherished every opportunity to gather, laugh, and make memories with those he loved most.

He is also survived by his siblings, Patti Titcombe, Brian (Melody) Neely, and Melinda Neely, along with several nieces and nephews who will remember him with affection. The bonds he shared with his family were meaningful and enduring, and his presence will be missed at every future gathering. Marty's life was enriched by the many relationships he built, and those who knew him will remember his friendly nature and the genuine care he showed to others.

Marty was the proud owner of Fleet N Custom Pros in Marne, Michigan, where his dedication and work ethic were evident in all he did. He took pride in his business and in the work he accomplished, and he was respected for his commitment and skill. Outside of work, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars, pursuits that brought him both satisfaction and peace. These interests reflected his appreciation for hands-on work, the outdoors, and the satisfaction of a job well done.
