Margaret Lillibridge

Margaret F. Lillibridge, age 71, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Kenneth and Verna (Tennant) Gillhespy. She graduated from Ottawa Hills High School and was a longtime resident of Marne. Margaret enjoyed attending her grandchildren and great grandchildrené�a�a��s activities and sporting events and was a devoted wife, mom, grandma and great grandma. She enjoyed road trips, gardening, canning vegetables from her garden, cooking and writing daily in her journal. She is survived by her husband of 51 years James Sr. and on August 8th they would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. 3 children, James Jr (Jodie) Lillibridge, Todd Lillibridge and Kim Lillibridge; 6 grandchildren, Monti (Justin) Mead, Chelsie Lillibridge, James David Lillibridge III, Kurtis Lillibridge, Brandon Lillibridge and Lauren Lillibridge; 3 great grandchildren, Dustyn, Dylan and Calea; brother, Gerald (Ruby) Gillhespy; sister, Rose (Don) Workman; 2 sisters-in-law Margie Gillhespy and Mary Gillhespy. Margaret was preceded in death by her sister Donna Flake and 2 brothers, Dale Gillhespy and Eugene Gillhespy. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville.
