Lucille Coon, age 96, was called home by her Lord and Savior Monday, April 9, 2018. She was born in Ingham Twp. to the late Harris and Anna (Lovell) Challender. Lucille enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Coon on Jan 25, 1997, son-in-law Daniel Cochran, daughter-in-law Sharon Coon, grandson Joseph Coon, 4 brothers Harris, Glen, John and Kenneth and 3 sisters Pauline, Betty and Josephine. Lucille is survived by her children, Floyd Jr (Judy) Coon, Velma Cochran, Gerald (Debra) Coon and Marilyn (Terry) Anderson; 9 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; sisters Lila, Anna Jean, Bessie, Dorothy and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 11:00 A.M. at Little Farms Chapel, 2518 Arthur St, Coopersville with Pastor Robert Van Manen officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids. Visitation Friday evening 5 to 8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville and Saturday at church one hour prior to the service.
