Lorna Sutterfield

Lorna Irene, Sutterfield (Meier), age 83, of Coopersville, passed away at her home unexpectedly Saturday, Feb 6, 2016. Lorna was born Feb. 28, 1932 in Plain, WI. To the late John and Philipena (Kelsch) Meier. She met and married the love of her life, C.L. é�a�A"Redé�a�� Sutterfield while he was stationed in WI. Lorna loved to spend time with her family and friends, dance with Red, especially the Jitter Bug, play cards and enjoyed her flower gardens. She was preceded in death by her husband C.L. é�a�A"Redé�a�� Sutterfield on Jan. 2, 2014, son, Daniel, son-in-law, Bill Haisma and her sisters, Helen and Lucille. Lorna is survived by her children, Jeff (Lisha) Sutterfield, Kim (Nancy) Sutterfield, Monica (Erv) Klein, Lori Haisma, Kathi (Tom) Miller, Teri Krebsbach and Dana (Carolyn) Sutterfield; daughter-in-law, Linda Sutterfield; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Al VanDenBerg; sister-in-law Nancy Sutterfield and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Friday, Feb12th at St. Michaelé�a�a��s Church, 17150 88th Ave., Coopersville, with Fr. Anton Tran celebrant. Burial will be in St Michaelé�a�a��s Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, Feb 11th, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St., Coopersville. Memorial donations may be made to Lorié�a�a��s Voice or St Michaelé�a�a��s Church.
