Leanne Weaver

Leanne Weaver, age 56, of Coopersville, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017, at her home. She was born in Laramie, Wyoming to David and Jean (LaFleche) Earnshaw. Leanne was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger Weaver, in 2004; her mother, Jean Earnshaw; father-in-law, Richard Weaver, and brother, Douglas Earnshaw. She served in the Michigan National Guard for 6 years and was employed at Comprehensive Engineering where she worked as a CAD Designer. Leanne enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, dancing, and knitting. She is survived by her husband, Eric Hemphill; daughters, Chelsea Weaver and Shannon Weaver; grandson, Killian Weaver; stepchildren, Joshua Hemphill, Brittney Hemphill and fiancé Michael Gilbert; father, David Earnshaw; mother-in-law, Arlene Weaver; sister, Gail (David) May; brother, Steven (Debbie) Earnshaw; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Earnshaw, Catherine Weaver, Maureen (Tim) Spoelman, and Camille Weaver; brothers-in-law, David (Sandy) Hemphill, Steve (Lou Anne) Hemphill, and Richard "Tom" Weaver; many nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wish, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 noon, Tuesday, June 6, 2016 at the Coopersville United Methodist Church, 105 N. 68th Ave, Coopersville, MI 49404 with Rev Cori Cypret officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday one hour prior to the service at church. Memorial donations may be made to Gilda's Club, 1806 Bridge St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
