Lavonna Tikkanen

Mrs Lavonna (Allen) Tikkanen, aged 82, of Grand Haven passed away Monday May 21, 2012. Mrs Tikkanen was born August 16, 1929 in Sparta, MI to Michael and Vernice (Tuttle) Allen. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Arthur; daughter, Lucinda Tikkanen and grandchildren, Greg Bouwkamp, Jessica Marie Dean Tikkanen and Kyle A. Tikkanen. She is survived by her children, Linda Smith of NV, Laurie Smith of Nunica, Lon (Kathy) Tikkanen of IN, Leah (Dale) Spinner of Coopersville, Lynette (Dale) Asbury of Muskegon, Lane (Linda) Tikkanen of Fruitport, and Lance Tikkanen of NV; 20 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister Loris (Ollie) Butler; sister-in-law Gertrude Beimers and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Lavonnaé�a�a��s wish cremation has taken place. A Life Celebration Service will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday May 29, 2012 at Sanctuary at the Shore, 900 S. Beacon Blvd, Grand Haven. Interment will be in Ottawa Center Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Sanctuary at the Shore, Beautification Fund or Hospice of N. Ottawa.
