Lane Tikkanen

Lane Allen Tikkanen, age 62, of Fruitport, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on Wednesday morning, December 19, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. Lane was born in Grand Haven to the late Arthur and Lavonna (Allen) Tikkanen and was a graduate of Coopersville High School. In addition to his parents Lane was preceded in death by his wife Linda (Culligan-Short) Tikkanen, daughter-in-law Amanda (Bunker) Tikkanen, sisters Lucinda Tikkanen and Laurie Smith, sister-in-law Kathleen Tikkanen and brother-in-law Dale Asbury. He is survived by his 2 sons, William “Bill” Tikkanen and Scott and Katie Tikkanen; 6 grandchildren, Abby, Michael, Travis, Brenden, Kohler and Allison; 3 stepchildren, Keith, Megan (Don) Eacker and Mindy (Chris) Wierengo; 5 siblings, Linda Smith, Lon Tikkanen, Leah  (Dale) Spinner, Lynette Asbury and Lance Tikkanen; many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Lanes wish cremation has taken place. A Life Celebration Service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Ottawa Center Chapel, 8991 Leonard Rd, Coopersville, MI 49404 with Rev Robert Porterfield officiating.
