Kenneth Terpstra

Kenneth R. Terpstra, age 88, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 while returning from Florida. He was born in Tallmadge Twp. MI to George and Jennie (VanHouten) Terpstra who preceded him in death. Ken was also preceded in death by his wife Joyce in 1991. Ken served in the U.S. Army during Korea, was retired from Alofs Manufacturing where he worked as a Tool and Die maker and was an avid hiker. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and wintering in Florida. He is survived by his son, Tom Terpstra; daughter, Tammi Dietrich; grandchildren, Joshua Dietrich, Elizabeth Kenney and Kalyani Hazenedarevic; two great grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie TenBrink, Rose Emelander and Joann TenBrink; brother, Jim and Joan Terpstra, brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Art VandenBerg, John and Mabel VandenBerg, Carol and Harold Grant, Jean Oosterheert and Ruth Morren; special friend, Joanne Baron and many nieces and nephews.
