Karl Nowak

Karl Alfred Nowak, age 75, of Grand Haven, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018. He was born in Grand Rapids, to the late Henry and Valda (Cattell) Nowak. Karl was a man of faith, he loved his family, was instilled with a hard work ethic, and was a true people person. He enjoyed golf, woodworking, cookies and ice cream. Karl will always be remembered for his big smile. In addition to his parents Karl was preceded in death by his daughter Karri Lee Nowak in 1984. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Nowak (Chaffee-Hecksel); son, Douglas (Christine) Nowak; granddaughter, Shannon Nowak and fiancé, Bryan Hildreth; grandson, Seth Nowak; brothers, Keith (Eleanor) Nowak, Rev. Robert (Bonnie) Nowak and Ronald (Cinda) Nowak; brother-in-law, Ronald (Sandra) Hecksel; sister-in-law, Janice Hecksel and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 11:00 A.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville with Rev Kurt Wenzelburger officiating. Burial will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 5-7 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville.
