Judith Teravest

TerAvest, Judith K. (Schuur) Coopersville, MI Judy TerAvest, age 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. She endured a three year battle with cancer which she faced with strong faith, strength and grace. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Bob. Also left to cherish her memory are her children Jeffrey (Shelley) TerAvest, Michelle (Bob) Haisma, and precious grandchildren Kelsey and Jeremy Haisma; brother, Ronald (Marcia) Schuur; special sister-in-law Joyce (Fred) Kosten; brother-in-law, Dick (Gail) TerAvest and several nieces and nephews. Judy was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her bubbly, vivacious manner and infectious laugh will be missed. Her greatest enjoyments were her family, flower garden and home. A drive out to Lake Michigan was a favorite outing. All these became more difficult in recent years as her health deteriorated. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Coopersville Reformed Church with Rev Arnold VanBeek officiating. Burial will take place in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville.
