Josephine Reens

Josephine Ann Reens, aged 80, of Coopersville, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was a member of St. Michael's Parish in Coopersville. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband Richard Reens Sr. and infant son, Michael Allen. Surviving are her children, Carol Reens, Brian (Mary) Reens, Chris (Ken) Brown, Deb (Shawn) Marshall, Rick (Sherry) Reens and Cathy (Bob) Potter; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Slosser; brothers, Harold Keena, Rev. Fr. James Keena and Tom (Nadine) Keena; brother-in-law, Ken Martin; sisters-in-law, Betty Keena, Sue Keena and Joann (Stan) Robertson; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Church in Coopersville with Fr. James Keena and Fr Ayub Nasar celebrants. Burial at Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 8:30 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the mass at church.
