Joan Marie (Cnossen) Anderson

Joan Marie Anderson, age 86, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026. She was born in East Douglas, MA to the late John and Philamenia (Yacino) Cnossen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jerome “Andy” Anderson; former husband, Ronald Anderson; sister, Bette Ann Reynhout.

Joan enjoyed traveling to the many different casinos, helping and doing things with foster care, bowling and most of all spending time with her family. She worked for Michigan Bell Telephone for 35 years until her retirement.

She will be deeply missed by her sons, Keith (Susan) Anderson, Blair Anderson; grandchildren, Justin (Kate) Anderson, Kristen (Gabe) Romzek and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. A private family burial will be held in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Coopersville at a later date.
