Jeremy Robert Haisma, age 30, of Jenison originally of Coopersville, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Jenison on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023.
He is survived by his loving parents, Bob and Shelly (TerAvest) Haisma; sister, Kelsey Haisma and Bill Kelly; niece, Breslynn Kelly; nephew, Lane Kelly; grandfather Bob TerAvest and uncle Jeff TerAvest, grandmother Karen Haisma, and several Aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Judy TerAvest, grandfather Bob Haisma, and Uncle Gary Haisma.
Jeremy was a graduate of Coopersville High School Class of 2012 and began working at area farms and eventually, Weller Truck REMAN Center. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time in the woods hunting and fishing with his father. He was very passionate about riding dirt bikes on the trails & spending time with his best buddy Zach(Kelli) Norkus. Some of his other talents included culinary arts, boxing, and artistic touches to things like hunting blinds or making duck call lanyards. Jeremy will be immeasurably missed for his creative spirit and infectious laugh.
