Jeffry Roberts

Jeffry Lee Roberts, age 37, of Grandville formerly of Coopersville, born December 6, 1980 died from injuries sustained in an auto accident September 28, 2018.  He is survived by his Mom and Dad, Sue and Gregory Roberts; sister, Kristen (Omar) Taylor; beloved nephews, Isaac and Owen Taylor and Grandmother Carol Roberts. Jeff graduated from Coopersville High School in 1999 and attended Michigan State University for 2 years. He then enrolled and graduated from Grand Valley University with a degree in Computer Engineering.  He worked at Sound Off Signal where he helped develop and refine the software for the programmable LED light bars on emergency vehicles.   Currently, Jeff was working at Savant Automation, Inc. writing computer software codes for automated guided vehicle system for use in industrial applications. Jeff enjoyed hanging out with friends and loved Frisbee golf, computer and video gaming.  He was very close to his nephews and loved teaching them about robots, engineering and science.  Jeff was loved by many and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 6, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 Cleveland St East, Coopersville, MI  49404 with Rev. Joel Hoyer officiating. Relatives and Friends may meet the family Saturday from 1 to 2 pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Coopersville.
