Jeffrey Lemieux

Jeffrey Eugene LeMieux, age 58, of Marne passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday December 4, 2022. Jeff was born in Mt Clemens, MI., to Eugene and Pat (Finkler) LeMieux. He was a graduate of Kenowa Hills High School and worked as a machinist until his stroke. Jeff had a deep Catholic Faith and a Heart of Gold. He was always willing to help others and was one of those guys that always seemed to have the right parts on hand and was able to fix anything. He enjoyed time spent with his family and spoiling his grandchildren who knew him as Papa. Jeff loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and of course spending time at his property at Big Star Lake with family and friends gathered around a campfire. He was preceded in death by his father Eugene LeMieux on Sept. 8, 2018.  Jeff is survived and will be deeply missed by his daughters, Christa (Kyle) Snyder, Amy Sue, Tanya (Paul) McDonald and Jennifer LeMieux; 10 grandchildren, Kylee, Coralynn, Klara, Jayda, Jozlynn, Bentley, Payton, Maverick, Justin and LayOna; mother, Pat LeMieux; siblings, Joseph (Cindy) LeMieux, Richard (Andrea) LeMieux, Tina (Jeremy) Wray, Michele (Corey) Dykstra and Michael (Lisa) LeMieux; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 9, 2022 at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Marne, 15164 Juniper Dr, Marne, MI 49435 with Fr Michael Hodges Celebrant. Burial will be in the St Mary’s Cemetery in Marne. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday 4 – 7 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI 49404. The Rosary will be prayed Thursday evening 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may also greet the family on Friday morning at church one hour prior to the Funeral Mass from 10 – 11 A.M.
