Jean Bennett

Jean M. Bennett, age 88, of Coopersville, was called home to heaven on Wednesday, April 3, 2019. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI. to the late John and Mary (Zoet) Wever. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence Bennett; son, Thomas Menkveld, daughter-in-law, Georgia Bennett; sister, Carol Dykman and brother, Alvin Wever. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends and lived a full and complete life. Jean is survived by her children, Linda (Mike) Adams, David (Nenita) Menkveld, Deborah (LeRoy) Brown, Evonne Bennett and Ken McClelland, Robert Bennett, Debra Cole and Jeffery Bennett; 17 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Norman Dykman; sister-in-law, Charlotte Westmaas and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon, Monday, April 8, 2019 at Throop Funeral Home 214 Church St, Coopersville with Rev Dave McKellar officiating. Interment will be in the Coopersville Cemetery.
